RCVS Practice Standards Scheme

The practice meets the RCVS standard for small animal practices – a rigorous standard ensuring the staff and facilities meet strict criteria, i.e. that the practice is well equipped and maintained, Health and Safety standards are met and staff training is up to date. We have always felt that to achieve the standards set out for by the Royal College would give both our clients and staff confidence that we are performing our duties to the highest standard. To that end we have been undertaking this regular rigorous assessment since the mid 1990s. After the latest inspection in 2018, the North Thoresby site has been awarded Hospital standard, which is the highest tier achievable.

The practice is also a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Training Practice for veterinary nurses.
